Rugundana Elysée is a Senior Associate at KC ATTORNEYS. He specializes in corporate and commercial, immigration, labour and employment matters and dispute resolution.

He has experience in assisting various commercial companies, not-for-profit organizations and individuals in drafting and negotiating various types of contracts and other legal documents. He also assists and represents clients before administrative entities, and represents clients in litigation and dispute resolution processes.

Further, he has worked with not-for-profit organizations in providing communities with human rights and legal education and implementation of advocacy projects.

Prior to joining KC ATTORNEYS, Elysée worked with ENSafrica for nearly 4 years and has worked as Legal Associate at Health Development Initiative (“HDI”).

He is a native speaker of Kinyarwanda and he is fluent in English and has working knowledge of French.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Laws (LLB) (University of Rwanda).
  • Postgraduate Diploma in Legal Practice (Institute of Legal Practice and Development).
  • Member of Rwanda Bar Association.
  • Member of East African Law Society.
