William Karaiga is the Managing Partner at KC ATTORNEYS. He specialises in various sectors of Law, including Dispute Resolution, Corporate Governance & Compliance, Employment, Intellectual Property, Tax, Real Estate and, General Commercial Law.

His experience includes assisting local and international investors in establishing their businesses in Rwanda, either as INGO or other existing structures such as limited by guarantee as well as their ongoing compliance aspects and Employment Law, representing and assisting different commercial companies before administrative authorities and Courts of Law, conducting legal due diligence exercises, drafting and negotiating a variety of commercial documentation.

Prior to joining KC ATTORNEYS, William worked with ENSafrica for 4 years. He is a native speaker of Kinyarwanda, has an excellent command of English, and working knowledge of French.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Laws (LLB) (University of Rwanda).
• MBA – Project Management (University of Kigali).
• Postgraduate Diploma in Legal Practice (Institute of Legal Practice and Development).
• Licensed Insolvency Practitioner.
• Member of Rwanda Bar Association (RBA).
• Member of East African Law Society.
